I have been away for a while and that’s awful for business. I have been away doing some work on the political consulting I do, so it’s not all for naught. In any case, my head has been geared to politics and the wisdom is that business consultants do not cross the line into politics for fear of upsetting clients, potential and actual.
That’s crap. The general consensus is that politics lays the groundwork for business and investor confidence, hence business is already political and the separation of the two serves someone’s interest. I contend this separation favors lobbying groups like the US Chamber of Commerce (which represents mainly large firms and not the small start up) and large firms that can manage their own political representation. What I will not do, however, is make an advocation for either of the parties. Both parties represent and are concerned about the health of a business friendly environment. On certain issues I will side with a certain party, but as a general ideological principle of NWWC, I will not advance a partisan politics. Hopefully, you are still reading.
I will return to some nonpolitical issues. As I am still doing some political consulting then you can also expect my writings to probably be more political in tone than other small business blogs. That’s good , because you can also expect a difference here than on those other sites as well as a more courageous stance because of the risk of running afoul of potential readers and clients.
