Eric Butow and Kathleen Taylor. How to Succeed in Business Using Linkedin: Maximizing Connections and Capturing Opportunities on the World’s Number One Business Networking Site (2009)
Oddly enough, almost every book about using social networking or modern marketing name drops Linkedin and explains that it is important but very few go into much detail. While this book is not much different than the simple “how-to” books I deride periodically it goes much deeper into how to use Linkedin and what Linkedin is good for. The real potential in this book lays in its coverage of features like “recommended service providers” how to make recommendations and how to appeal to your friends for recommendations. If you are aggressively pursuing all the major social networks to expand your business, take some time to familiarize yourself with Linkedin by reading this book.
